One of the longstanding complaints about iOS was that Apple, in stark contrast to Android, wasn't open to third-party keyboards. Thankfully, with the introduction of iOS 8, Apple revamped its keyboard software in a major way. Now comes word that Apple may have a few more keyboard tricks up its sleeve, at least as it pertains to the iPad.

If you want to lose weight, spending a week at festivals such as SXSW probably aren't the best way to get the job done. Jimmy Kimmel recently learned this the hard way when he went down to SXSW and gained nine pounds over the span of just a week by pigging out on the massive quantities of meat being sold at the festival. Kimmel even took pictures of everyone of his meals and challenged his viewers to find any vegetables in them.
Burger King Japan unveils Whopper-scented perfume

We don't care if this is just an April Fools-related publicity stunt -- it's still incredible. Burger King Japan announced on Friday (PDF) that on April 1st it will start selling Whopper-scented perfume to customers. The fast food chain tells The Wall Street Journal that despite coinciding with April Fool's Day, this initiative is no joke -- there really is going to be Whopper-scented perfume and you really will be able to buy it from Burger King franchises in Japan.

If you were on the fence about whether to subscribe to Dish's Sling TV streaming service, the company just gave you a very tempting reason to take the plunge. Re/code notes that Dish has added AMC to its Sling TV package, which means that subscribing to the service will now give you access to Mad Men, The Walking Dead, Better Call Saul and other highly acclaimed shows.

Are driverless cars the future or are they another "moonshot" project that won't live up to the hype. Although driverless cars could seriously improve driving safety and reduce accidents, they do come with one glaring flaw: They're incredibly boring to ride.

Elon Musk, the founder and CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has drawn some comparisons to Apple cofounder Steve Jobs and at least one SpaceX employee thinks those comparisons are warranted. An anonymous SpaceX engineer took to Quora recently to tell the world what it's really like working for Musk and it seems that he's just as insanely demanding and difficult to work with as Jobs once was.
