We already knew that Apple plans to release the Apple Watch in April but a new report from MacRumors indicates that the watch will be released in the early part of the month.

With no shortage of reports claiming that Apple has grand plans to develop an electric car, a number of folks have naturally wondered why Apple doesn't just by Tesla. Tesla, after all, is largely viewed as the Apple of the auto industry and already sells what many consider to be the best car on the market. What's more, Tesla has already paid for and owns much of the costly infrastructure associated with car production.

Despite a bevy of rumors suggesting that Apple has plans to enter the car business, established automakers aren't exactly breaking a sweat. Indeed, given the vast complexities involved in developing a full fledged car and seeing it all the way through the manufacturing and production process, one has to imagine that some of the more established brands in the car industry find the onslaught of Apple car rumors downright hilarious.

Google kicked off a big developer's conference on Wednesday for Project Ara, its experimental smartphone project that could allow for the creation of fully modular phones. Droid Life notes that as part of its opening keynote on Wednesday, Google "unveiled a massive gallery of the updated Ara skeleton with modules and other customizations to show the potential as we get closer to availability."
