For the third year in a row, Apple CEO Tim Cook is participating in a charity auction through CharityBuzz, offering whoever bids the most the chance to enjoy lunch with him at Apple's headquarters in Cupertino. This year's auction also includes two VIP passes to an Apple keynote event to watch Apple unveil new products.

Two people can have lunch with Cook, and the experience will last for approximately one hour. Lunch is included in the auction price, but the winning bidder will need to cover travel and accommodations. The exact date of the lunch will be scheduled at a mutually agreed upon time after the auction ends on May 6, 2015.

The auction has an estimated value of $100,000, and bids are currently up to $37,500. This is the third year that Tim Cook has auctioned off an opportunity to spend time with him, offering a coffee meeting in 2013 that sold for $610,000 and a lunch meeting in 2014 that sold for $330,001.

Proceeds from the auction will once again benefit the RFK Center for Justice and Human Rights, a charity that aims to achieve a "just and peaceful world by partnering with human rights leaders, teaching social justice and advancing corporate responsibility."

Amazon on Thursday announced two new unlimited cloud storage plans for Amazon Cloud Drive, enabling users to store an endless amount of photos, videos, movies, music, and files. Amazon users can choose either the Unlimited Photos Plan for $11.99 per year or the Unlimited Everything Plan for $59.99 per year, with a free three-month trial available for each plan for customers that want to try the service.

The lower-tier Unlimited Photos Plan allows for an unlimited number of photos to be stored on Amazon Cloud Drive, alongside up to 5GB of additional storage for videos, documents and other files. The more expensive Unlimited Everything Plan allows for unlimited storage of photos, videos, files, documents, movies and music with no restrictions. Amazon Prime members are already provided with an Unlimited Photos Plan at no additional cost.
“Most people have a lifetime of birthdays, vacations, holidays, and everyday moments stored across numerous devices. And, they don’t know how many gigabytes of storage they need to back all of them up,” said Josh Petersen, Director of Amazon Cloud Drive. “With the two new plans we are introducing today, customers don’t need to worry about storage space—they now have an affordable, secure solution to store unlimited amounts of photos, videos, movies, music, and files in one convenient place.”

The addition of unlimited cloud storage makes Amazon Cloud Drive a more competitive alternative to other cloud storage services such as iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive and Dropbox. Apple does not offer unlimited iCloud storage, providing customers with tiered storage options of 20GB, 200GB, 500GB or 1TB for between $0.99 and $19.99 per month. Google and Microsoft also have capped storage plans, while Dropbox offers unlimited storage to business customers only.

Filming has progressed on the upcoming Steve Jobs movie starring Michael Fassbender, and a few weeks ago, film crews were spotted at the San Francisco Opera House. As of yesterday, hundreds of extras were hired to take part in a scene and a few photos leaked, giving us details on what's being filmed at the location.

The scene being filmed in the Opera House appears to be the 1988 unveiling of the NeXT Computer, the first computer developed by Steve Jobs after he left Apple. A movie prop poster hung on one of the walls in the Opera House depicts Michael Fassbender as Jobs, posing with the NeXT Computer, which was often referred to as "The Cube" due to its shape.

Back in 1988, the unveiling of the NeXT Computer took place at the Louise M. Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco, which is located across the street from the Opera House. It is not clear why filming is taking place at the Opera Hall, but scenes will also be filmed at the Symphony Hall, according to reports. Filming in the area will continue until April.

Steve Jobs' NeXT event was a huge gala and it marked the first time Jobs had appeared in public in many years. Descriptions of the event called it a showy affair with "all the subtlety of a Hollywood premiere." Jobs himself was described as working the crowd "like an entertainer."

In addition to being spotted in a promotional poster, Fassbender also had his photo snapped outside the Opera Hall by a fan, still dressed in his Steve Jobs garb. At that time, Jobs favored a simple white button down shirt and dress pants, which is what Fassbender wears in the image.

The Steve Jobs movie starring Michael Fassbender as Jobs and Seth Rogen as Wozniak was penned by Aaron Sorkin and is being directed by Danny Boyle. Jeff Daniels, Kate Winslet, and Katherine Waterston all have roles in the film. The movie is set to be released in theaters on Friday, October 9, 2015.
