As you've probably read by now, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg took some shots at Apple in an interview with Time where he defended his company's advertising-based business model and said that if Apple really cared about its customers, it would make its products a lot cheaper. While this might make for a good soundbite, it once again shows how a lot of people out there simply don't get why Apple has been so successful over the years.

The world has Android 5.0 fever, and while most Android device owners will have to wait until next year at the earliest to get Lollipop on their phones and tablets, enthusiastic Google fans don't have to wait another minute. We told you earlier this week that near-final versions of Android 5.0 Lollipop had been made available for some Android devices, including the Google's "pure" Nexus 5 and Nexus 4 smartphones, as well as one version of the Nexus 7 tablet.
Well, thanks to the XDA Developers forum, the latest version of Android 5.0 can now be downloaded and installed on those devices and many others.

Apple has long been rumored to be working on its own payment service to turn your iPhone into a wallet, and 9to5Mac’s latest report backs up these rumors. According to its sources, Apple has been in talks about a mobile payments service with “high-profile retail brands” that sell “luxury clothing and premium goods.”
Samsung was rumored more than once to be actively developing a plan to break away from Google’s Android mobile operating system and release devices powered by its own Tizen platform, but that has not happened yet. Considering that Samsung and Google have inked an important partnership earlier this year, it’s highly unlikely that Samsung will ditch Android anytime soon.
