New Apple Print Ad Shows Off iPhone 6 and 6 Plus 'Actual Sizes'

Apple has begun rolling out a new print ad on the back of magazines like Rolling Stone showing off how big the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are compared to older iPhone models, as noticed by The Mac Observer.





The ad simply depicts both of the new iPhones at actual size with the tagline "Actual Sizes", and could likely tempt users of older iPhones to compare their current model to the new ones to see the size differences between the phones. Below the iPhones, the ad includes copy that briefly talks about the new features of the phones.

HTC takes BlinkFeed to a whole new level

HTC’s custom news-reading BlinkFeed app has further been tweaked in Sense 6.0, and it’s apparently ready to offer users even more information than before, whether it’s custom news pulled from various sources including social networks, or app-related information. Cord cutters unite: Pay TV providers lost subscribers for first time ever in 2013

The pay TV industry may not be sweating the cord cutting trend just yet but for the first time in 2013 it had a reason to take notice. According to new data from Leichtman Research Group, pay TV providers posted a net loss of 104,000 subscribers in 2013, the first time the pay TV industry has ever lost subscribers year-over-year. The biggest losers were Time Warner Cable and Comcast, which respectively lost 825,00 and 305,000 pay TV subscribers each. Given how poorly both those companies have fared in multiple customer satisfaction surveys, this isn't too surprising.

Microsoft is considering lower prices for digital Xbox One games

The Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 are on a relatively level playing field as the new generation revs up, but Microsoft and Sony will find ways to help consumers differentiate between the two in the coming months and years. Video: This Android app lets you Chromecast photos to your TV

Now that Google has rolled out Google Play Services 4.2 complete with the full Google Cast SDK for the Chromecast, developers have already started adding Chromecast functionality to their apps. Believe it or not, Betamax is still relevant to our lives

It's been a while since anyone has used, thought about or cared about Betamax, the video cassette technology that lost out to VHS back in the 1980s. TorrentFreak points out, however, that Betamax is still very relevant to our lives even if we don't know it. 30 years ago this week, the Supreme Court ruled that recording television shows on Betamax cassettes so that you could watch them at a later time did not constitute copyright infringement.
