As promised, Apple has just released the latest and greatest version of its smartphone and tablet operating system, iOS 8.1. It's not quite the tremendous leap forward that iOS 8 was compared to iOS 7, of course, but it brings a bunch of great new features and fixes with it, and it probably won't brick your iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus like iOS 8.0.1 did.
